  • I've bought items from here before:

They're slightly unusual (slightly expensive) and both Moms I sent them to loved them.

I am a mum of twins! I would have been delighted with personalised blankets btw :)

Pram toys are nice too (look up lamaze, can't do links on my mobile!)

Is there anything that parents of twins can suggest? I think a multiple birth is a bit different to a single one! Another site recommended a mobile to keep one twin entertained while the other was fed/bathed/changed etc. I've seen twin-sized playmats that will become useful in coming months etc.

That's not to say other suggestions aren't helpful!

I wouldn't get too hung up on 'something especially for twins' a multiple birth isn't really that different, trust me. I can't think of anything that would have made a difference for my twins that didn't apply to my singleton TBH other than an extra pair of hands. :D

I assume they knew they were having twins so would have already got double of everything the need but a mobile might be nice if the haven't already got one.

I agree with you, steer clear of clothes, with twins I found they tended to spend more time in babygros as by the time you've got two of them fed/winded/nappy changed getting dressed in little outfits didn't always happen!

I would go for a comforter as fluffer suggested above, it's something they can use for comfort whiole waiting their turn and a makes a nice keepsake.

Jo Supernanny recommends having lots of safe places to put one twin whilst you're dealing with the other- so maybe a bouncer chair or similar?

I expect they've already got at least one of those. But thank you.

play.co.uk have a brill sale at the moment and I spotted some really cute all in ones in pink and blue take a look may just be up your street. The ones I saw were only £5.99 each so you could top up with a supermarket gift card for nappies as twins are going to be really expensive.

Love those pram blankets from JL :D If only I needed one....

Comforters are a great idea :) we use the £4 ones from Asda, I have 3 of them :D for rotation when cleaning and in case they get misplaced, so an expensive one, if baby ends up attached may work out an expensive habit for the parents.

Agree with Lamaze pram toys too :) they really are fab, and great for little hands when they start reaching out.

Other than that, bigger sized vests/baby grows/pjs. These always get used, and I found when I got to 6-9/9-12 I was running out of clothes that I'd been given as gifts as most people only give up to 3-6. They aren't season dependent either, so it won't matter how slowly or quickly baby grows.

    I'm also a mum of twins:eek:
I think a really nice teddy which they can keep for many years.
Please make sure they are the same though to avoid arguments in the future!
If your friend has another child(ren),please don't forget him/her/them, as it can be quite hard for the siblings of twins.

No, no other babies. She's waited a really long time for these little ones. :heartpuls:
