unable to watCh you tube videos on my tv

Have A samsung dvd player with you tube. I am trying to watch something on there now but it keeps buffering so I cannot even hear anything. The picture is there but is slow as if in slow motion. Can someone tell me how this can be reSolved I
My lAptop recently stopped working and I was having the same issue wwith you tube on there

Assuming both devices share the same internet connection...

Have you checked to see if your broadband is still up to speed. Something like https://www.speedtest.net should help get an idea.

Might also be worth rebooting your router if it has been on for a long time.

Thanks tried what you suggested and still the same. Don't have a laptop at the month so unable to check speed. Any other suggestions anyone?

What are you posting your messages on here with? If an iPad then you can get the speedtest app for it

does the tv allow you to pause it, wait for it to download, then play

Speedtest app also available on Android. No point going any further until you find out your internet speed to be honest...

got my laptop back now and just done the speedtest and the results are upload 0.72Mbps and download 0.25Mbps.
