i can only buy from amazon and i would not know how to format if i buy elsewhere. i wont buy of amazon, :)

    You'll be wanting a Nexus 7 then.:D

PS So Moneysaving is OK for individuals but not for corporations, interesting moral dilemma ain't it.
Amazon employ 56,000 employees wordwide and took on an extra 10,000 temps in the UK alone over the Christmas period. Where would you want us to shop Comet?
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Last I checked, ADEPT limits you to six 'devices' and fewer downloads; Amazon's method is nowhere near as obnoxious.

In any case, Kindle reads .mobi files just fine. :D

i wont buy from amazon when i can avoid doing so as i had problems in the past a few years ago when i ordered something so you have confuddled me slightly now, :)
if i have a problem once with a company i stop using them if i can.
and as i say with a kindle i would have to use amazon as far as i know so i went with the nook after having had a sony ereader for many years. i can use many sites then to get my books.:)
    p.s what is a nexus?

I considered getting a Kindle but was put off by being tied to Amazon. Do the other models like Nook give you access to an English or foreign language dictionary (for anyone reading foreign literature)?

i know that i can look a word up when reading in english, not sure for a foreign language though if that is what you mean, :D
