I discovered I had two old accounts with Leeds permananent (or whoever took them over) I was able to provide the account numbers - I just wrote to them asking for any balance to be sent on and the accounts closed - probably helped that I was at same address with same name 20 years on. Ended up with a cheque for £150 or so that I didn't know I had.0
