Cameron hopes to win back disaffected Tory voters...

by stabbing them in the face apparently.

Laughable inept joker he is.

Him and Osbourne could not have dreamt up a policy that affects more possible tory voters more badly.

they have lost 1.2m votes in one fell swoop.

Is he going round to 1,200,000 people to stab them individually or is he relying on party workers to help him out?

Even if he spends another 7 years as PM and works at face stabbing every day that's a little under 5,000 people stabbed each and every day. He'd best get a move on.
  • this CB farce only affects possible tory voters. The man is an utter fool. Labour, lying thieving scum they are, at least knew that you don't kill the goose that lays your golden eggs.

This CB joke saves almost nothing, alienates their own voters and won't buy them ONE single vote from the lower classes or women.

    It is beyond stupid.

Will you vote Labour instead or is this just an extended whine?
  • Every time one of your posts comes up I always think of Alan B'stard from the New Statesman.

I don't think the CB change is as bad as TWH does however I agree the coalition appear to be bending over backwards trying to appease people who will never vote for them regardless, whilst doing almost nothing for the people who might do.

Having Osborne as both Chancellor and main strategist clearly doesn't work. In these economic times either job would be mammoth; having one person of very questionable ability doing both is very stupid.

i will abstain, or possibly vote UKIP in protest. I don't agree with all of what they say, but i like Farage and their tax policy makes a LOT of sense.

    Of course he'll vote Labour, he's a benefits-junkie. Scum.

Nah, it's part of the workfare programme.
  • Just because a policy will lose votes, doesn't mean it shouldn't be implemented. It's a bit of a fudge of a policy, but basically the majority of people agree with this move. As a gay man, I've never agreed with the fact that I've subsidised other people having kids, so it's a step in the right direction in my opinion.

i reckon that the long term unemployed might actually turn up for their work placement if it involved stabbing middle-class 40% taxpayers in the face. said taxpayers might be less than happy about funding it, but they've been stabbed in the face so who cares.
