Have you tried slipping a o2 payg sim in then stating your a payg customer to get it unlocked?

I think O2 made it very clear that they unlock it neither for pay monthly nor for PAYG customers.

Just make it clear when selling that it is locked to O2.

That's what I meant. I don't suppose o2 have any interest at all in buying your second hand phone.

You are wasting your time and don't have brains to post anything that would have made some sense.

    Eh? ........

It was addressed to the new spammer (deleted now).
  • I'm also looking forward to unlock my iphone 5 from 02. I found this website (officialiphoneunlock)which states that they officially unlock for £20.00, but just its too good to be true when comparing with £80 and £60 with previous posts.. anyone came across this website before?

    Thanks

Refer back to my prior comments.

Apple unlocks are done on Apples servers, there are ways to unlock some handsets but of you upgrade the phone or change the sim you may find it gets re-locked to the original network.

It's possible the site has access to Apples servers by someone working at the network, but there is the risk they will be audited at some point and the phone re-locked.

As the phrase goes, if it's too good to be true it probably is.
  • Thanks for your quick reply, after further research, I've found out that's unreliable site and they don't refund if they can't unlock it.
