windows 8 - where is the help file?

Hi all,
My sister very kindly bought my mum a laptop for Christmas with Windows 8 on it.
My mum is a complete novice.
I only have Win 7 on my own computer and want to point my mum at her help and support section so that she can watch / work through any guides and tutorials that are available.
Given that I can't see her screen and can't work step by step with her, and that she really REALLY doesn't have a clue (and nor do I when it comes to Win 8) can you please tell me...
HOW, step by step please, do we find the help files?
