Phone call yesterday

I find it weird that they called? Has anayone else had this?

I would be asking how they managed to get your number. I refuse to tell anybody other than very close friends and family what my number is. I wouldn't tell anybody from a government office they are no better than the double glazing people they can't be trusted to keep it secret.

I had a phone call last year and refused to give any info over the phone. I asked them to send me a form to fill in and I would send it back, this they did. Never give any info over the phone at any time.

They will have her number most likely from when she completed benefit forms.

What if they called ? What possible harm can they do ? If everything is all correct and over the board you have nothing to worry about. They will have a nosey around and then go and trouble someone else.
