Stay away from 10month insurance policies

I didn't have any problems, 10 months after passing my test I had 2 years no-claims, and no-one ever questioned it, the comparison websites had no problem accepting it, and things were fine.
I had one 10 month policy, and a years no claims from when I insured my car whilst taking lessons, etc.
Which comparison website was this?
All ones I tried just error out and go "no claims bonus cannot exceed time license held"0 -
I've had 2 different 10 month policies and never had any problems changing company when it came to renewl time.0

Given the companies you are looking at I'd say you are trying to insure some sort of Japanese sports car, perhaps a subaru. I'm not surprised these companies won't accept it, they are twitchy at the best of times as they are specialists and are good if you meet the strict criteria of their panel.
You might not have the same issue with say, a 1.6 Ford Focus and a mainstream broker/insurer.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0
