You are basically coming across as a nasty, arrogant, ranting man, who seems to have beef with everyone who doesn't fit your extraordinarily narrow definition of respectability.
You hate young people, you hate people getting married, you hate people less well off than you, you hate anyone who comments on the less well off as left wing.
Do you think your life might be a bit happier if you chilled out a bit?
Just saying is all.
Substitue "old people" for "young people" - and the words pot and kettle come to mind!0 -
Villain or player of the system (or both) : you decide. The more the state goes after your money, the more things will shift to the black economy.
Not for me to judge but I agree that more people will "protect" what they can.
With the degree of HPI that was seen I guess assets have become a bigger target to go after, in a lot of cases, that are more difficult to squirrel."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

A villain indeed. A villain who knew how to work the system.
Just like those who hide money in Swiss accounts.
I suspect when you add it all up, the loss to the state is massive. No wonder we can't afford pension provision.0 -

It would be interesting to know how many people consider it and harbour thoughts even if they don't follow through. I would expect it to be few who don't."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

I am sure many, if not most, people harbour all sorts of wrong and unsavoury thoughts in a variety of areas, which they not proud of and would not want revealed. There is no crime in thinking (though that may come, the way we are going), only in the actuality. Nobody can be exonerated in the least from committing any crime just because someone else may have been tempted, but didn't do it.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

Does that include listing your wife as say Company Secretary (with a wage) when they don't actually do any work to substantiate that? Or indeed receiving (or paying) cash in hand?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Of course, that is tax evasion - a crime.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

Brilliant! Janet Street Porter on "Don't you dare touch my benefits".
She probably knocked the pensioner cause back a few notches, a good job there was a sensible balancing act from the other two, what a horrible women
Was she the one who was having a go at depressives previously? 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
