    Morning everyone!

~ Years ago there used to be an Olympic Challenge on here that I
really enjoyed so am starting my own private one this year.
Have saved £94.13 so far! Had to use £40 for private osteopath
and £15.30 for prescription on Wednesday but at least I had it
    to use! So £38.83 left.

    Morning all (just!)
Thanks for starting us off Josie.

    My little list...
    • Went swimming only to find the pool shut - £3.20 saved I suppose
    • Do some free exercise instead - probably a long dog walk and a bit of Tae Bo (on youtube - good fun)
    • Been food shopping with a list - only spent £10
    • All food from stores
    • Walk dog around the water park - will have to shower him afterwards but we could both do with a bit of fresh air
    • Clean downstairs
    • Did the Mr T price check (thanks Ally)
    • Lots of marking still to do
    • Stay in tonight and watch a film
    • Get clothes ready for going back to work
    • Got receipt through the post today for paying off the sofas (file it)
That's about it for today I think

    Afternoon :D

Ds 2 up at 7.15am, Ds 1 at 8 am this morning, I'll take that thank you very much babies! We wont mention that Ds 2 was up a little bit at 2, and randomly ds1 was sick at midnight?! Both totally fine today...

So not much going on here, but I have already:

Taken boys to the skate park with their scooters in the miserable drizzle with some friends
Made eggy bread for ds2 and scrambled eggs for me for lunch. Ds1 not had his yet!
Dh has gone to b and q for plumbing bits to fix random small leak

Once ds2 wakes up we'll be nipping to sainsburys for a couple of bits, so will be sticking to my list.

We are on a pretty tight budget til pay day and we have to stick to it!

    Happy weekend all :)
Full time working mum to 2 boys
DH Stay at home dad :)

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for starting us off Josie, sorry to hear things aren't so good at work at the moment, hope you can work it out.
Stitchy - Have a great Grandma day.
Karb - Hope the glazier can fix the door for you, & I hope you get more sleep tonight! You must be shattered.
Casper - What's the olympic challenge?
Linz - Thanks for your tips on yesterday's thread about Berlin, we are hoping to catch a Xmas market or 2 but I've checked & we'll miss the main one from the looks of it :( I did check Travelzoo but I can't decide if I'm better off booking now or waiting for a last minute deal, as they do usually come up...but I could completely blow it by doing that!

So far I have wasted most of the day in bed, the trouble with working a second job in a pub means late nights! So from now on I need to be productive today.

    The plan:-
    • Food from stores
    • Dinner from meal plan, DH is making cannelloni for the first time :j
    • Charge phone via pc
    • Heating off as long as possible & on low when needed, lots of layers on to keep warm.
    • Check online banking
    • Check for new mystery shopping opportunities & if payment has been received yet
    • Enter some comps
    • Do some decluttering & flylady
    • Need to find all my receipts & enter them into Mr T's price promise
    • Need to fess up on the GC thread
    • Check ebay
    • Research cost of holiday to Berlin for DH's 30th in November, anyone ever been that can offer me some tips?
    • Research cheapest place to buy new camera, as well as which camera to buy! I've decided I'm better off selling my broken camera for spares on fleabay, I'm sure some clever clogs will buy it for £30-£50, fix it themselves & sell it on for £150! Going to cost more to begin with but better long term.
    • Go to second job tonight, colleague has offered me a lift home as he's driving tonight so that means I can have a drink or 2 :)
    • Go to Mr T's, use coupons & bring own bags for extra clubcard points as well as being environmentally friendly
    • Arrange with my Dad when he can come & lay our kitchen floor tiles :j
Hope everyone has a great, MSE day x

    * was going to go out for dinner with a friend tonight but we have decided to stay in and get a supermarket pizza so will be ooooodles cheaper!
    * will be going swimming later and having a shower at the gym - saves me the cost!
    * have 100% completed the arduous task of making my friend's birthday present
    * will be looking into taking on some private tutoring work - maybe!
