    If you look at my original post, I said that CPW will not give a replacement and will only send for repair, hence my question here regarding my legal position.

    I did see that, but I think you have a good case for replacement. Have you tried escalating the complaint within CPW?
    If not, all you can do is accept another repair.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
