Insurance for laptop bought outside the UK

I bought a new MacBook pro on a recent trip to the USA and would like to obtain insurance for it. However all of the specialist laptop policies I have looked at so far have exclusions relating to products which were not purchased in the UK.

Can anyone recommend a policy which will cover a non-UK purchased laptop?

Your home insurance should cover it.

Insurance against what? breakdown? theft? accidental damage?
