Insurance for laptop bought outside the UK

I bought a new MacBook pro on a recent trip to the USA and would like to obtain insurance for it. However all of the specialist laptop policies I have looked at so far have exclusions relating to products which were not purchased in the UK.
Can anyone recommend a policy which will cover a non-UK purchased laptop?

Insurance against what? breakdown? theft? accidental damage?Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0
