Lots of lovely things in the Oxfam 70% off online sale. I bought quite a bit of jewellery and crafting bits and bobs:

Thank you for posting this Oxfam sale.
Why do I feel guilty as I've a ordered two items totalling nearly £20 including P&P but would never have paid full price for these items. I'm trying to convince myself that every little help - whoops that's Tescos slogan but it applies to the mood I'm in :A0 -
It's a sad day when a charity shop is having a sale.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0

why? would you rather they sat on all the christmas leftover items until next christmas and have to pay for storage of said products all year round?TheDancingBanana wrote: »It's a sad day when a charity shop is having a sale.
it is better to sell the stock for something than have it all just sit there going dusty and taking up space0 -

Lol, our local charity shop is the same, they don't have a clue what to charge and end up massively under pricing or over pricing a lot of stuff. I dropped a couple of bin bags of DDs outgrown toys off a week before Christmas, with great reluctance as I wondered if they'd mark the Disney/VTech toys at 10p and the plastic ball pool balls from the pound shop at £3. Didn't dare go in to look in case it upset me!
On topic, thanks OP, would prefer any of our sale funds to go to a charity as every bit helps them out so I'll check this sale

Thank you for the heads up. I am looking for bargains for next year pressies and Oxfam's goodies would have passed me by without this thread. All the nieces and nephews will be getting the flower growing kits for their birthdays this year. Bought a few other lovely things too.0

Thanks for that. Just made my order. Bought loads of Xmas cards which are much more interesting than the ones I bought from WHsmiths today. Bought 4 Grobox Children's flower garden kits at £2.09 from £6.99, they are around six quid on Amazon plus delivery. Thought they would be good for presents when my son who is 4 goes to parties. Also got some advent candles at 74p.0

Thanks OP - just bought lots of little items (far more than I need, but consoled myself that It Is For Charity...).0
