I'd suggest buying a well known rather than a supermarket brand.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Yes, these seem to always have problems.

I agree - You're better off buying a low-end/smaller-sized, branded TV for a similar price, rather than a larger TV from a supermarket.

Does anyone know how the supermarkets source these lesser-known brands?
I love adventures. Unfortunately, I don't get to go on them nearly enough. My simple solution? - To indulge in the digital artefacts of the adventures of others. Feel free to indulge in them with me.

Swapped the TV over this evening. Sainsbury's were very good and gave a full refund no problem. I then bought their Sharp 32" TV for £189.99. Just started to install it now!

Their buyers visit the Far East and seemingly purchase the cheapest available product.
Make no mistake, these are cheap TVs-not bargains.
  • Check Control Panel/Sounds to make sure that HDMI - not your speakers - is your default. Depends on your windows version how to get to it. Bit of a pain as you need to reverse the process when you disconnect.

Strange how my rather negative review hasn't made it onto the Sainsbury site yet :-)

This thread is about a TV rather than a computer. Thanks though!
