Can anyone remind me what the most popular half term parks are (think they're usually specific Butlins ones)?? I put those 2nd and 3rd on my list when applying to try and make sure I get the park and date I want.
Also could the people with children confirm what dates half term are??
Many thanks
The 3 butlins are called Minehead, Skegness and Bognor Regis.
I don't know if half term dates vary, but you could check on the website for your LEA. Here's Staffordshire http://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/education/schoolsandcolleges/Termdates/home.aspx and the Feb half term is Mon 18th - Fri 22nd Feb.52% tight0 -

In Hampshire for us the dates are as follows:
Feb half term is 18-24 Feb
Easter is 29 March-14 April
May bank holiday 27 May-2 June
Hope that helps.0 -
I have just booked a holiday I wanted at a site Cornwall on Monday 27th May for 4 nights through the Daily Mail promotion. It cost £10 per person instead of the £9.50 through the Sun, I checked their costs for services charge and entertainment passes and it is more or less the same as the Sun charges.
The website opened today and you can book even if you haven't had one of their holidays before.

the seven passwords you need are:
BREAK
DANCE
BALL
SEAGULL
CANDY
PIER
WALK
They seem to have all the same sites as The Sun and they offer Easter dates (The Sun don't).
Worth looking at if you know the dates and park you want.

How did you get it for £10 per person? I can only see "from £15".Steve0 -

Feb half term in bristol is 11th -15th“Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.”0 -

If you go to the booking pages there are £10 deals.
I wonder if the Mail and Sun have a batch of holidays each or whether they will all go on the Mail offer and leave no good ones for the Sun offer.Steve0 -

I've just tried & it's all working fine & there are some £10 deals - remember it's FROM £10, so some are dearer.
I was going to go to France over Easter but they are £10pppn - so for 4 people its £280 for the week plus charges. Going direct through Keycamps was cheaper in my case esp as I wont be using the ferry thats included. Anyway have booked direct with an owner that was recommended on tripadviser.
The Daily Mail hols are better for UK hols I think - have used before & they are the same as the Sun but the website is much better to use.0
