I finally managed to get the Easter Holidays - Easter Mon to Fri. Could not get a sniff of where we had shortlisted or any Haven sites either and Butlins was booked up from last year to to the year 3000 through the Sun lol.

Have been here before though - Golden Palm Resort in good old Skegness. Its not bad and reasonably close to Skegness and at least it is in the HOLIDAYS..............

Hope you all managed to find something, thank you all for the company this afternoon and the code words..........

Looking forward to Easter now.....

All booked never got date i wanted so had to book week before but happy with that just hope the 2 new grandchildren waiting to be born arnt late lol:T

Hi. Stayed at Hoburne 2 years ago and just this minute booked for this July via Sun Holidays. Its a lovely site with lots to do and lots of thing s to explore near by without a car. We go by Train from Stoke the 4hour journey is worth it. We are hoping to extend our 4 night stay to 7. Torbay is brill.

Did anyone have the letter they send out when u are unsuccesful last year the one where u dont have to collect any words or tokens u just send the letter back with a booking form as soon as the 1st token in paper so u should get in before anyone?? Just wondering if anyone had sent this away this year and heard anything back yet or if anyone knows when u would hear from them??

Hello all!
Having a nightmare trying to get dates for oct half term, park resorts sunnydale was available but I faffed around and now it isnt grr. Would have loved skegness but looks like Ill have to choose somewher else now. Cant get one in Somerset either which would have been my 2nd choice...Hmm! Thanks for the codes and hope everyone has a lovely holiday.

you know I didn't get what I wanted last year one time, so I left it. Then a few days later I went back and just tried and got exactly what I wanted at Butlins.
