Just booked my hol to devon in may for 4 nights. Also managed my first choice of hobourne torbay, anyone been there before?

Hi. Stayed at Hoburne 2 years ago and just this minute booked for this July via Sun Holidays. Its a lovely site with lots to do and lots of thing s to explore near by without a car. We go by Train from Stoke the 4hour journey is worth it. We are hoping to extend our 4 night stay to 7. Torbay is brill.

Nope we did manage to get the early may bank holiday @ La Croix de Vieux Pont but will mean a drive to DLP every day
its a much bigger / better / nicer site though :)

and only an hours drive to disney

we used to aternate a day @ disney with a day relaxing onsite :T
  • Finally managed to get the first week of April but at a park we've never been to - Woolacombe sands, looks really good and we can take the dog too!
Told hubby am so excited want to start packing now.

Thanks to everyone who contributed codes and kept the spirits up.
Might look at doing the next promotion, too cheap to pass up really.

    :D:D:D:T:T:T

we did woolacombe sands last year, smaller park but great. Only thing that could have improved our August holiday was less rain (if only you could book that)

its my daughters top choice this year, we were going for woolacombe bay but can't get the dates.

I'm still trawling through the iow options - thanks to those that replied. Ideally I would like to be in walking distance to a beach but then again park facilities might be top priority if rainy?

so, who wants to decide for me? Rookley, gurnard, thorness, or lower Hyde? No pressure, I won't tell the family who picked it :rotfl:

Does the Sun offer these holidays on the next promotion for school summer holidays

We booked one last year, but it was a shed (literally! Albeit a very clean shed) in row upon row of sheds on a dreadful site. Never again! We nearly turned round and went home!
  • Big thanks to all involved with the codes, I got my first choice :T
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

It's a lovely little park only 10 min walk to the town and 15 mins max to beach mainly off road along a little path . Had lovely 3 night break there last year . Managed to get 3 nights there on 24th may . The beach is perfect .
