Possible changes to Royal Mail postage

My local PO has just said that currently going through consultation but will probably happen.
Compensation to go up to £50 from £46 but only if it has been sent signed for.
Anything else will only have a max compensation of £20.
Also will be fewer pricing categories, so as previous 1st and 2nd class changes knocked out weights of 250g and 500g and now only have 0 - 750g, there will be more changes like that.
Anyone else heard anything?

It would have made more sense to remove standard parcels, and bring in a Tracked retail product0

Stamp prices will be going up again. (Possibly up to a £1 for a 1st class) and they are bringing back the Price marked stamp, rather than 1st class to stop people "panic buying" like last year which screwed Royal Mail over and cost them a lot of money.0

Since the last change they have lost half my business if they bring this in they will loose a lot more.0

the loss of standard parcels (with 2nd class available up to 20kg) is going to put a huge strain on post offices due to the way we're paid. Really not good news all round0
