Morning all,
still rushed off my feet here cleaning house after the Christmas celebrations. I'm cleaning one room at a time hoping to get there by this evening.
I just wanted to say, I'm thinking of you Jools. Such an awful time for you and your family. Much love. :grouphug:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thinking of you Jools and family xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning (afternoon!) everyone
Finally up to date! The marking is done, final load of washing is in the machine. Planning on a bit of baking later ready for pack ups next week, and I'm going to try making my own tortillas tonight for tea - hoping they'll freeze well too, even making 6 is too many for tonight/tomorrow!
Got a shopping list ready to get everything sorted for next week - getting the things on the list only, that's the challenge for today! Then the boyfriends over later, and off to see his brother tomorrow. Ah well, can't have everything...
Happy friday everybody x*2016 - the year of the savings account!*

Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Thank you all for your hugs today, went as well as it could have, MIL remained calm and service was apparently lovely, big turnout to say goodbye! We had some laughs, shed some tears, and remembered our gentle giant. Now am in my jammies contemplating a quiet refreshment in peace!RIP Iain
