Gave this route a shot for beaming tv from a bedroom to the kitchen and must say i'm pleased with the results....went for these:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/directional-dome-5.8ghz-video-sender-kit-518136
They worked basically straight out of the box, though there's only a ceiling and about 6 foot between transmitter/receiver.
Have flicked through the channels to get the best picture, but was wondering if anyone knows what the ID dial on the back is for? Both boxes were set to "1 1 1 1" so have left well alone, but was wondering could I improve reception even more by adjusting this dial too??

Probably find some channels find interference via other sources (Microwave etc).
Checked the specification and Scart connection as opposed to HDMI so not for me thanks.
I have one that is all built into each Scart so quite small.
Is there a decent/low cost HDMI wireless solution like this ?0 -
Not a very specific manual just tells you they've to be set the same, there's a button on the receiver for selecting channels.
As for not being hdmi I have to say am getting a better picture than the freeview hd/co-ax set up I had there before.0
