What do you mean "emails from SKY"? You can ask Sky to send emails to any email address.Castle_Rock wrote: »currently pay £12.50 a mth for SKY Broadband which is way too high. Your Sky email address is yours for life! However in practical terms thats only until a little later this year when Sky email moves from Google to Yahoo.
So if you are leaving Sky then you will lose yourhttps://my.sky.com/mysky/makethemost/sky-email/info/a2h/?DCMP=dmc-skycom:ec_make-the-most_sky-email_info_a2h email account.

Simply set up a Gmail account (5 minutes work) to download into Outlook and then you can enjoy ISP-independent emails forever.
How much work is it to send a Bcc email to all your address books contacts advising your new address, and change your email address in your online accounts? A couple of hours at most? You only have to do it once.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I haven't used an ISP's email address for years. I always had Hotmail, then I got an invite to the GMail BETA so signed up to that and have used it ever since. I enabled POP3 and use Outlook to get my email.
So much easier.0 -
I would phone up and ask them what would happen to your emails if you were to change providers.
I know with Virgin Media, as soon as a customer left then they also lost access to their VM email service and all archived emails and it used to create huge problems.
Sky might not feel they have to provide anyone with an email service for free of charge.I am a moneysaver0 -
