Virgin Mobile only have standard sims. They do not have micro sims nor nano sims so you will need to either cut down the sim or buy a sim cutter.

    They do offer micro sims.

Must be reasonably new to offer micro sims then. I know my daughter-in-law switched to Virgin not that long ago and my son borrowed my micro sim cutter as they didn't offer a micro sim.

I don't know when they introduced it (for those that don't have access to a cutter), I only noticed when I was trying to find out the MMS price.

Went into Virgin store today. They don't do nano sims needed for iphone 5. He said you can get them online via their website but I tried and you can't. When I told him that he said you'd need to ring Virgin cx services. He gave me a number but it was for people who have a virgin a/c. I held through all the options but then was told it would be a 15 min wait to have my call answered. I was calling from my mobile (0845) so I hung up. Virgin shop refused to call for me so I'm back to square one as it seems Virgin don't offer a sim only deal for iphone 5.

Now way I am chancing cutting up a sim card!!

No they don't. My son used a nano sim cutter for his wife when she got her new iPhone 5 for Christmas.

Get a sim cutter for around £5/£6.

Most private phone shops that offer unlocking will have sim cutters to cut sims down, the one local to me charges £1 to cut a sim down.
