First time I've managed to get on all day, I'd forgotten it was Wed till this site reminded me.

I've just tried to ask a question and twice I get logged out and my post gets lost. I'm going to have a nice cup of tea and be calm now. I just needed to vent my frustration.

I just lost a new thread I had hoped to start on Discussion Time, despite repeated screen refreshes, so I gave up in the end :rolleyes: .

I received the weekly email at 12.29 today though, so I didn't think it was due to pressure on the servers.

Maybe time to dust the rubber bands again?

I thought it was just me!! Got pretty frustrated last nite.... my post wouldn't load up, gave up in the end! But today looks pretty good but I am too lazy to post now

It cos of the weekly email probably.

Everyone who gets it clicks on the links so it slows down init

We are trying to work on 'dealing with Wed'. We have tried spreading the send out - so emails are sent from around 9pm on Tue night to 5pm on Wed. We'll get there, but the sheer numbers mean the Forum especially suffers (the main site is a much simpler piece of software, so it does it with ease)

i wrote a lovely long post last nite,took me ages

went to submit it ,there was a tecnical glitch and i lost the lot,couldnt be bothered to do it again :mad:

Martin, I got the email twice yesterday, at 12.29 and again at 20.18. Don't know if this was general, but if so it might explain the situation a bit.

Nelly I hadn't thought of the knock-on effect i.e. people clicking on the links - thanks for that, it makes good sense.:T

If I do a long post which isnt often I'll admit I copy it first the if the worst does happen then you can either paste it later or paste it into noteped and save it.

Yes always makes me laugh too :mad:

I do what nelly suggested and tend to write them in another program now and then copy into here.

Still cheeses me off no end.
