I ordered the Canon case for my A430 from Tecno at £4.99 plus £3.95 postage - much cheaper than some places. Well chuffed.
I noticed on the paperwork that Tecno is a division of Jessops so the cases maybe available in their stores for a similar price & save you the postage.

    Cheers Madcow

4mp is more than enough, I reckon. Check this out.

I remember reading a couple of years back that packing more MPs onto smaller, consumer cameras could actually be detrimental: as the size of the CCD is limited by the size of the camera, you end up with "overlapping pixels", (or summink like that).

I had the 4mp A520 on my round-the-world trip and it produced some really excellent shots.
thanks funkymunky I have been surfing all evening looking for a camera to take on holiday your advise has saved me a small fortune:j

    No problemo!
  • Does this camera have a viewfinder? The camera we've currently got is fine except when the sun shines you cant see a damn thing and end up guessing what your taking.

  • I might have a look for this. I bought my first digi camera just over a year ago (a Lumicron 6 Mpx) and its been nothing but trouble.

I thought I was getting a bargain at around £100 for a 6 Mpx camera. How wrong can you be ? :(

I would recommend the Powershot Canons and I am still using the 2 megapixel A40 camera which I bought ages ago. Still takes great photos although I will be upgrading to the A550 or A630 over the next few months... just waiting for the price to come down before I go on holiday or a special offer might pop up befopre then.

Read the review in the first post to make sure you know what youre getting as they are very thorough.
