Creditor Meeting Tomorrow, scared!!!

  • Hi, good luck for today, i am sure it will all go well. We have our last payment for our iva going out in 2 weeks time, cant wait!! We paid for 6 years because we had to lower our payments in year 4 so had a 12 month extension. You will learn how to budget your money well and we seemed to find ourselves having more by not being on the credit merry go round, I am not saying it has all been easy but it has been worth it and we never want any credit ever again, we will just save for what we want:) I hope all goes well for you on your journey as ours did. :)
  • Oh dear panic!!!

Grant thornton have contacted me IVA not approved yet.

One of my Abbey debts has been passed on to this company that is in my wifes and my name. This company needs clarification of which abbey debt is in joint names. We have one vote the others did not show up as of yet.

Once the paperwork for the joint loan is clarified it will pass through.

In the mean rime the other creditors may come through with no votes.

Oh dear dont really understand what has happened. Bit worried now

!!!!!!! I presume that an Abbey debt will ultimately be a Santander debt and they were a bit of an !!!! with ours as they use various debt collectors and there not too fast acting. Surely GT would have had the debt owner clarified as they'd have had copies of the statements.

    Hope it's sorted soon

    Hey fiatfan

yes I dint get the name of the debt collector, they have copies of our loan agreement. Not sure why the need for clarification.

still worried but maybe the other creditors didnt vote and its just the case to confirm our joint debt with santander.

    fingers crossed

gi's that's got to be nerve racking! surely they should have had ownership sorted within the week since they had all the details or do they have to redo the 30day consultation since they made a mistake?
