Just switched over today to BG Click Energy from npower. My Gas spend is £1000/year and electricity is £550/year.

The essentials tariff is tied to the standard tariff, so if the standard one falls, the essentials will to.

the reason they have dropped the prices as of today!!! is due to their "appalling" computer system! seems BG cant win all the other 5 major suppliers have got great customer service for all customers "i dont think"! one even pays its complainers so they dont go to energywatch! good news is customers with quantum gas and key elec meters can get the same signing offer as credit customers.

I hear many complaints about all other suppliers more so npower and powergen and powergen stay warm just because is does no make the press does not mean they all have great customer services, They all get there fair amount of complaints which is good for me makes it easier to sell them our energy.

I think you are in agreement.

There is no doubt from the figures released from Energywatch that BG have a far higher percentage of complaints(in relation to their customer base) than all the other major suppliers.

That is not to say that the others are good - they ain't - but BG are easily the worst.

If you have Internet access and email then Click Energy 2 is much cheaper than the standard BG tarifs. So imo anyone who is on this forum on a standard BG should change to Click Energy 2 even if they don't want to change supplier. I don't even think you have to pay by DD on the new Click Energy 2.
