Well, she never told you that she loved you did she? You deserve better. I would let yourself feel angry with her rather than upset, that will help you to move on.
Good advice above, don't take any interest in her now. Give yourself time and things will improve. Remember if you hadn't split up, you would never be able to meet someone who really cares about you.0 -
She sounds vile, and you'll see that when a bit of time has passed and you can see a bit more clearly.
Being dumped sucks, even if the person dumping you is a complete a-hole. More than anything it's the shock and loss, but honestly when you step back and look at what you had, you'll realise that this was actually the very best thing that could happen.
Oh and my advice? Don't EVER be tempted to get back with someone who has wronged you, even if right now it's what you want more than anything in the world. It's a fatal error, and will only mean prolonging the pain as unpleasant people don't tend to change.

Lots of good advice already, particularly about blocking phone and Facebook. You'll grieve for a while, that's to be expected. Remember though that he was her ex for a reason, and when that relationship breaks down, as it will, don't be a shoulder to cry on.move on and every day remind yourself that you deserve to be treated properly and with respect.Bern :j0

This is just awful! Looks like you can't completely sever contact until the legal issues are sorted out. Presumably you've already paid December's mortgage?....We bought a house together in 2008 and I moved out to a rented flat in 2010 so she could have some 'quality' time with her 2 kids. I continued to pay half the mortgage because we were still together. I feel she has completely taken me for a ride now!...Saving money right, left and centre0 -
Whose name is on the mortgage? If they are not your children you have no obligation. Is the house worth more than the mortgage?
She woud have to be abe to take on the full mortgage if the mortgage o only let your name be taken off and buy out any equity. in reality you will probably have to sell.
You could start by moving back to the home that you own!June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

Get your bits checked.
Were your mates telling you anything over these few years.
When I read your first post I though this was young love just got it wrong and missed few warning signs. turns out much more complicated, bit of a player.
The real telling one would have been the transition to things are great especialy if you had the habit of the odd bicker/argument this never goes away completely.
What happened to the kids dad(s).
how long after being togehter did you buy0 -

Yes the mortgage payments are up to date, the next payment due out mid January. The house is in both our names, we bought pretty much straight away after starting going out, like a love sick fool I've been.
Why do I still love this woman tho? I still hope she'll come grovelling back. But I also know that it would be suicide to take her back no matter what she might say!
How old are you Borgman, and have you learnt anything from this episode?
A lot of what I wanted to add to the thread has already been covered, however it is time for you to put yourself 1st and foremost.
Kids especially other people's? Not your problem, as you have discovered nobody respects a mug, 2013 onwards is time for you to take more and give less.0 -

I'm going to get legal advice as to my options about the mortgage this week.
You most definitely need to get legal advice - if it's not in negative equity, presumably you'll want to sell and put all this behind you.
From everything you say it really sounds as though this is a totally heartless predator who was simply after you for what she could get out of you.“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”
