Think Serums are classed as skincare not costmetics so allows 3 for 2 but not free gift.

serum is skincare, not make-up, so no free gift with the serum.

Just a recap so that people don't get confused with the two offers, I don't know if they are still doing the free gift with two make up but will write it assuming that they are...

For the 342 to work with the vouchers you have to have 2 make up and 1 skincare or 2 skincare and 1 make up...the cheapest item HAS to be one of the doubles, so if you are buying 2 skincare the make up item cannot be the cheapest and vice versa...

Items of the same value will only work if the double, so second skincare or second make up is put through LAST

    A few examples:

    Skincare £7
    Skincare £7
    Make up £7

Till will take the make up as the free item so cannot use both vouchers just £5 off of skincare making transaction £9

    However

    Make up £7
    Skincare £7
    Skincare £7

Till will take the last skincare as free and will accept both vouchers so £14 - £8 vouchers = £6 total transaction

The vice versa of this transaction so two make up would include the free gift if available, I have had this scanned after two make ups and after two make ups and a skincare and both worked so not sure it matters but I like to be careful

So the person that wanted to stock up on wipes this would be the best transaction for you putting the wipes through last with a make up item of £7 or more, can recommend the No7 concealer to be good :)

Rule of thumb is one skincare, one make up and a free skincare as long as extra item is the cheapest :D

Hope this sheds a bit of light on how the deal works, some sales assistants don't like to take both vouchers so give the skincare first just in case, I like to disguise with other purchases and where I've been getting bottles of skincare I've been holding it under my arm like a balancing act at the till and then that goes last to get free gift but as I said I don't think it matters, only found that out on my last transaction and the SA told me I could use both vouchers and then asked if she could look at my receipt to see how it worked out to get some for herself :D lots of deals on in Boots at the moment and I had 4 £5 off £20 vouchers in the post yesterday, shame I can't get to Boots until Wednesday! :rotfl:
  • Thanks, was hoping the offer was for all No 7 instore as I know sometimes the offers are different. Never mind, my store didnt have any free gifts left anyway. :)

Want to make the most of my No.7 voucher and get the free gift without spending much. So I end up purchased
    1x No.7 Beautiful Skin Wipes £7 and
    1 x Flawless Finish Sponges (Make-up) £3.75
1 x Flawless Finish Sponges (Make- up) Free (3 for 2)
    1 x No. 7 free gifts
Less £5 voucher for skin care (SA only accept one voucher per transaction)
End up paying £5.75 not bad at all.

If anyone want the No. 7 free gift and don;t want to spend more than £5 then you could consider purchasing 3 x Flawless Finish Sponges (Make-up) £3.75 each. With 3 for 2 you only paying for 2 = £7.50 and use the £3 voucher for make up you will end up paying £4.50

Hmmm..... you put me on a mission this morning when I read your post. I have half a dozen of these vouchers to use up and I thought great idea to use on nail polish. So off I went to Boots and the nail polish is - make up!

You can follow it on the link path as below which confirms the word make up (ie add a skin care item to use both vouchers) I hope this makes a little sense ?!
