My local Boots told me they were no longer doing the free gift offer yesterday. No free gifts visible anywhere, so I asked. 3 for 2 is still on, but doesn't seem like such a good deal compared to the same deal + free gift as well!

The No7 woman I had was a right trout! She told my mum that she couldn't use the vouchers together as the till just doesn't accept it, it used to and would give a good saving but not anymore so she ended up getting another make up item to go with the other two to pay £11 for 3 £7 make up items minus 342 and £3 voucher as trout told her that was best offer and no free gift  ...I went to another till, got two nail varnishes at £6 each a free gift that went through and an £8 skincare with other shopping I needed and paid £6 for that bit, that's more like it! :D

Moral of the story, don't pay at the No7 counters!!!
  • I went into Boots this morning and there was a young Saturday lass on the No7 counter.I 1st purchased
    1 concealer £7
    1 pkt wipes £7
    1 concealer £7
    The 2nd concealer was free
    + free gift.
I asked if I could use either of the vouchers and they both scanned
    Total price £6:j
    I said I will try that again.:D
By the I got back a more mature SA was serving. This time it went through the till like this
    1 concealer £7
    1 concealer £7
    1 pkt wipes £7
    The wipes were free
    + free gift
The only voucher that would scan was the makeup part
    So £11 for 2nd transaction.
I am not sure if it was the order of the items or the fact that the SA wouldn't scan it but anyway you win some lose some

it was the way the 2nd lot scanned - as they were all the same price, the wipes were scanned last so they were free, so the £5 skincare voucher wouldn't work as the 2 items you were paying for were both make-up.

Any confirmation whether we can use both £5 and £3 voucher together plus 3 for 2.

Some SA's saying we can and some saying we can not?

    Hello - worked yesterday (Sunday)

....having read the posting above about the order of skincare / makeup, I was quite specific to give one of each to the assistant and then the third item. I'd already torn voucher in half and gave both over, saying "please scan both I'm not sure which is which.
Three items for £8 and got given another No 7 voucher. :rotfl:

Would it work if I bought 2x wipes and 1x nail varnish (would it total £6 after the till spit scans?)

Am in desperate need of some Boots No7 wipes!

I would give the assistant the nail varnish first though to avoid it being the free item......

( I tend to add other things ie toothpaste or cotton wool, to basket to avoid highlighting how cheap the offer is)

Thanks. Might try it on a SS till. Do the SS till spits have separate barcodes, or should I get the No. 7 voucher from a manned till first?

If you only buy 1 nail varnish you won't get the free gift :( But i was told by an SA you can only use 1 voucher and so she only took 1 off me. Pretty sure they're telling everyone now you can only use 1 voucher per transaction, but you might get lucky.

Also the order of the free item is the cheapest is free, so your voucher might not work. Worth a try though - good luck!
