Evening IA,got me bit of string and measured the distance to Blackpool and then London,OK,Blackpool is about a couple of inches further,but as PAP says,all the 'nice people' are going to Blackpool so I have spoken to DH and he says we should go camping in Blackpool and I can meet you lot
So count me in for the 1st,but not the 8th.
I will probably do the London one too,as long as it isn't in the same month.

September would be good as the children will be back at school. If it is a Saturday, I can make a weekend of it by travelling Friday and returning Monday(if I fly)

maybe i should explain myself a little better as it seem people have been confussing through what i have been posting ~ could be the way i type things though...

i thought when i read all the original topics and voted etc it would be a meal/day out rather than a 'night out' but it seem to me as it is a night out in the pubs/clubs of blackpool ~ this is not my thing... its nothing to do with whos there etc... but if london is a 'day out type thing' then i will go but it depends who goes because some posters (as seen on the 'party' threads) have different ideas/preferances on what they would like to do... i am in no way not attending because i dont 'like' the people who are there, ie i am not saying i wont go because mr bloggs is comming and he said that i am foolish for getting into debt... i am not like that. Its just i am a young lady and traveling for that amount of time is bad enough without taking part in anything i wont usually do at home.

I hope i havent upset anyone with what i posted but someone really upset me and this is why i felt the need to explain myself... thanks

It's easy to misunderstand things on here sometimes I think, because you don't have the benefit of hearing someone's tone of voice or seeing their expressions. I really hope no-one has felt as though they were being 'got at' or left out at all, because it really wasn't the intention.

I'm terrible for putting my foot in my mouth, so if I ever say anything to offend, please feel free to hit me over the head with a big stick or something!
