Has anyone sold anything on Etsy.

I have a few bits listed, but no sales.

Is it worth continuing?

i don't sell much, but have never NOT sold something.

Starting price too high? Postage too high?

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I've sold all sorts of things on eBay, including things I didn't think anybody would be really interested in.

Things to consider, are your pictures clear enough? Are your descriptions detailed enough? Are you starting your auctions at the right price? To high a price puts people off, but too low can also be off-putting- people might think it's too good to be true. Even things like when the auction finishes can affect whether people will bid or not.

It is possible to sell most things on eBay, but you have to experiment with listings to find out what works best in the market for the things you are selling.

I sell better on Etsy than Folksy but Folksy is improving. The key is to advertise well, the more people looking the more chance of a sale.

I use twitter, busymitts, facebook, craftjuice and any other opportunity i can to advertise the sites,

If things aren't selling look at other people who sell similar and see what their sales are like .

    Good luck with it

Nope, Etsy is an American craft selling website, all the items on it are homemade/handmade. Folksy is the UK version :)

I sold some stuff on Etsy when I first opened an account about 2 years ago. Most of the buyers had bought after reading my blog. Like others have said advertise your Etsy shop on all social media.
    good luck.

    Sorry I don't understand?

OP was asking about etsy and I was responding to someone who responded about eBay. As far as I am aware there is no connection between the two

I have not used etsy as my items do not really fit the platform at all.
