I've come across this piece of kit today which seems to offer an immediate figure as to what a one way drop off charge will be. Select 'one way charges, put in your pick up/drop off details and Robert is indeed your Aunties brother.

It doesn't show every rental company, but it does show enough to help in your decision making process.

p.s. National @ $250 for unlimited one way drop off comes out very well !

A little while ago I got a quote from Hertz for a hire that had a seperate pick up/drop off location -- on that quote they didn't charge a one way drop off charge, but the hire charge was several hundred $$'s more !:eek::(

I just put in our details....pick up Chicago, dropoff Houston. Only bought up 2 companies and it is not until you read t's and c's that its a standard
0 - 200 miles $50.00
201 - 500 miles $100.00
501 - 1000 miles $300.00
Over 1000 miles $500.00
