Was just feeling a bit dispondant, considering that my £7000 inheritance is what I'd felt really cleared my debts. Looking at my signature though, I've paid off around £11000 since my LBM. Means that £4000 of that was through my own efforts. Maybe I can do this after all!! I'll have to come back with some ideas....LBM early Jan 2013. Debt to clear at LBM (£25,804) £15,187. Barclaycard £1980 Unsecured Natwest loan £7216. Virgin Money £5991 (@0% until Aug 2015). Natwest credit card £0. Halifax overdraft £1000.0

Thank god it's Friday! Feels like its been a loooong week....
Moneysaving activities for the weekend/now- it's quiet at work
Put on ebay:
Quite a few pairs of nice shorts I'm too old/fat for
Reiss cardigan
Anything else I unearth in my wardrobe along the way
Put on Gumtree:
My bike (maybe put on ebay as well)
Print off my bank statement for last month. I got talked into buying (again) a toner and moisturiser from Kiehls (quite pricey) which wasn't right for my skin. I haven't opened them so I'm going to try and return them. I'm hoping for my money back, but at the very least a credit note or different goods. It would help off set the money I spent on an alternative moisturiser (more pricey but I do like to have nice skin!) last night.
Collect my order from boots and try to return 2 things I ordered because I thought I needed to in order to get a special deal (I didn't need to).
Look at the food situation at home and try to plan meals around what is already in the cupboard.
Trade in some more tesco points for restaurant vouchers.
Happy Friday everyone. Please 7pm come quickly!! xxLBM early Jan 2013. Debt to clear at LBM (£25,804) £15,187. Barclaycard £1980 Unsecured Natwest loan £7216. Virgin Money £5991 (@0% until Aug 2015). Natwest credit card £0. Halifax overdraft £1000.0 -
Yup, still at work, flurry of activity, now bored again! Pizza express vouchers purchased with points. Am also meeting a friend for dinner when (if!) I get out of here (pizza express with some vouchers I already have) so should be a cheap night.
Think I'll put the stuff on ebay on Sunday morning so that when the auctions are ending I'll catch potential buyers at the weekend. I'll put my bike on first thing tomorrow morning to maybe get a buyer over the w/end.
Bank statements printed off for the Kiehl's refund (hope I'm not being too hopeful with that!)
Need to buy a suitcase for my NY trip but have found some super cheap ones in sportsdirect so I'll see if I can buy one in store to save on the delivery charge.
Also this weekend I need to switch OH's dental insurance DD to my account as he is so rubbish with his account that there's never any money in there to pay it and we get a £6 overdraft fee. £72 a year wasted currently!!
Hmm, I reckon that any more goals for the w/end would be unrealistic! Oh, apart from obviously try to avoid spending any money at all of course!LBM early Jan 2013. Only 1 job done today- £34 refund at kiehls

Will do the rest tomorrow (hopefully!)

Moneysaving activities done this weekend:
Returned x3 highlighters to boots (£4.50 back in my account)
£34 refund from Kiehls
10 items listed on ebay, will finish next Sunday evening
Bought soup for all my lunches this week- cost me £11, lunch would cost £17.50 so £6.50 saved.
Spends:
£20 dinner with friend on Friday (despite contributing my voucher!!)
£20 cash gone- drinks etc
£25 dinner with OH on Saturday
£7 post gym lunches from wasabi (£3.50 ea)
£5 nose ring (mine fell out in the gym and I lost it!)
£27 necessities from Tesco
= £97
!!
£45 saved so actually £52 spent. Maybe thats not too bad considering how much I went out and did stuff.
Now to try and trim Tuesdays Tesco delivery to the bare essentials.
Will also see if I can change OH's dental insurance online now, then tidy up and hoover, prior to an evening in front of the TV:)
Have a nice evening everyone xxLBM early Jan 2013. Debt to clear at LBM (£25,804) £15,187. Barclaycard £1980 Unsecured Natwest loan £7216. Virgin Money £5991 (@0% until Aug 2015). Natwest credit card £0. Halifax overdraft £1000.0 -
Forgot to buy dog food so can't get tesco down any more.
Have the number and policy number for the dental insurance so i'll deal with that on the way to work tomorrow. Am also due a few quid refund from southern trains so I'll try to talk to them tomorrow too. Now I must tidy up or it won't be a good start to the week!LBM early Jan 2013. No money saving activity today. Forgot to phone Southern Railway and I can't change OH's DD, only he can. So I am vowing to get those two things done tomorrow instead now.
Few people watching some of my items on ebay, I just hope my stuff doesn't go for peanuts!!
I've been sticking to the healthy eating, I'm sure that my portion control is still rubbish, but I have definitely not eaten anything sugary for a while now so that's good. Nothing like the thought of looking like a whale on holiday to keep me on the diet! I am planning to go to the gym before work tomorrow so an early start... Now off to watch M.I.C and chill... xLBM early Jan 2013. Debt to clear at LBM (£25,804) £15,187. Barclaycard £1980 Unsecured Natwest loan £7216. Virgin Money £5991 (@0% until Aug 2015).
