Thanks to all those who have contributed. There are some great suggestions there that im sure I'll like and I'll have a good look through the linked threads too.

    With regards to this:

Have you ever had a friend recommend a film. One that you would not normally consider, not your style so to speak, but you decide to give it a go anyway due too it being recommended only to find that its a diamond in the rough?
That is why i asked for recommendations.

Yes they have, but then again they have an idea of what i do and do not like. They also know i would do my own looking before going as well.

Unfortunately this forum is getting more and more people posting obscure threads where the OP's cant be bothered to look for themselves.

If you want to be the nerd going shopping, get "out of milk" - its excellent.

A lot depends upon what you want to do with your nexus, I have mine (32gb) filled with games and apps - more than I'll ever actually use.

I saw quite a few people in PC World returning their Nexus 7's today, all with the same fault of the screen lifting away from the bezel on the left hand side.

The sales assistant said that most were being returned as quickly as they had first sold and that they had been instructed to refund if requested as it is a known fault.
