Well, the car cost £295 so it could have been much worse! And it's done for another year
DH made sausages and sweet potato mash for tea, and we're going to watch a film later - perfect Friday night inBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

So, it's snowed here over night again and it's still snowing, though the temperature is slowly rising so it's not setting as much as it was. I'm sat drinking a cuppa and watching Nigel Slater - I love that man
We need to go food shopping this afternoon at some point, so I need to look at what needs using in the fridge and plan for the week. Other than that, we're not doing much. We're just going to have a lazy day - I might do some baking this afternoon, we shall see.

Slowly have you got the "usual Monday blues" or are you not liking your new job?
Really hope it's the first one ..... (((hugs)))

To be honest, I'm finding the new job a bit hard at the moment, and I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it as much as I should be
but, it's a period of adjustment I'll just have to get through I suppose!
Doing nothing today, apart from marking and relaxing after that. I might make some cinnamon buns if I can be botheredit's cold here today again, and was trying to snow before but that's stopped.
I've OP'd £500 to the mortgage today, and transferred £300 into the Emergency Fund so that's done and dusted. I get paid tomorrow, so our current account is looking empty, but not for long. I'm going to really reign it in in March, and think about planning for the coming months...Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I agree with Taxi .... it's bound to take a while to adjust to any new job & a whole new set of kids & new colleagues etc .... even just a change in route to / from work can be enough to be unsettling - sure it'll be fine in the long runGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Mmm baking sounds goodand you are doing brilliantly with overpayments and savings :T I'm still playing catch up from all the bills at the start of the year - i had tax, insurance and the utility bills to pay out on - which meant i couldn't save anything at all last month so i'm trying to play catch up on that just now - hoping a good few bay of e sales come in to help with that *fingers crossed*
