  • Hi slowlyfading, I just found your diary and wanted to say hi!
We're also in our twenties and have begun our road to mortgage freedom, and we've also got two rescue cats! I haven't read all nine pages but I see that you work in a school and did a PG course... are you a teacher? DFi is a teacher and I am doing my PGCE :) So I just had to say howdy and if you don't mind, subscribe. Hopefully I can read along with your overpayment journey and keep motivated on my own journey!

Well done on your progress so far, January goals are looking great.

Oh my goodness, I'm so tired. Blah. Work is very hard at the moment - children are testing my patience and seeing how far they can go. Went to bed at 8pm yesterday and may well have to do the same tonight :(

The kittens are very cute, but very shy. Won't come anywhere near us still, though they will come out from under the sofa so it's a step in the right direction! Frustrating as I could do with a cuddle tonight. Definitely don't like Thursdays :(
