So, unexpected day off! :j :j school is closed due to the snow, so I'm just at home :) I'm currently sat in the room with the kittens, but there is still no sign :( they've eaten some of the food we've left overnight, so that's something. Still, nowhere near getting a stroke of one :(

It's still snowing here, albeit very lightly, so I don't think I'll be going anywhere today. I'll just potter around at home, and try not to put the heating on...! :o

What kind of temperature was it in the house the kittens have come from? Do you think they might be more likely to come out if you put the heating on? Or have they only recently come in from living as strays, in which case they'd be used to the cold? Most cats like to be warm though, don't then?

Why the leg was left out I'll never know .... maybe it was a warning so that no-one sat on her:rotfl:

They've been living in an outdoor pen that was heating but not particularly warm, so I'm not sure? They haven't been out at all from under the sofa, as far as I can tell :(

I'll just have to wait them out.... :rotfl:

  • They will .. don't worry!

Where is the food / water / litter tray?

I bet they've been out when you've not been around!

A good way to get them used to you, is to sit and read out loud (or you & DH could sit and chat) - it gets them used to your voice / smell etc.
