So, it appears I'm really bad at updating this, sorry
Nothing much has changed to be honest; we're just plodding along as normal. Work has been mentally busy, as per usual, but I'm hoping this week it will calm down a bit and I'll be able to catch up on some much needed sleep.
I'm 18 weeks pregnant now, and am definitely acquiring a bump  I still haven't told the kids at work yet - I am kind of hoping to make it to the 20 week scan - but I'm not sure I'll be able to hide it much longer to be honest. My work trousers are getting tight and there's a roundness that wasn't there before
We've recently re-mortgaged so that we have a much better interest rate. It means that we have a lower monthly payment and the interest is over £100 lower a month, which is fantastic. We'll keep on overpaying for as long as we can, though as soon as I go on maternity leave, it might have to stop, depending on finances. However, less interest means we can overpay at a faster rate, even if it's just the short term!

Thanks beanie
I am in a proper grump todayI am so fed up with various people at work at the moment, so much so that I ended up saying something today which probably could have gone better
it needed to be said, but I wasn't very tactful about it... oops.
I'm also fed up of not sleeping - my tiredness levels are much worse during the week as I seem to be awake a lot more than on the weekend. Also, I can lie in at the weekend so that does help. At this point in time, I cannot imagine going another 20 weeks at work
Meh, I'm glad Monday is almost overBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Okay, I'm in a better mood today
Had another NSD - I took cheese and crackers for lunch, with an orange, some dates, a yogurt and some crisps. Tonight's tea has been chicken with cherry tomatoes and peas in a creamy pesto sauce with rice followed by grapes and a caramel wafer. All yummy stuff
I've posted a blog post about early retirement today - I am so hopeless at getting things sorted, but I'm trying to not let it get to me!
I have felt baby move for the first time:smileyheaI'd got up for a wee about 4am this morning and was just laid in bed trying to go back to sleep. It felt like someone had flicked the inside of my stomach! I woke DH up to tell him :rotfl: it was an amazing feeling - it has made it feel much more real all of a sudden. There's something growing inside of me...!

I'm 20 weeks today, which means I'm half way
:j  how can that be already?! Got my next scan on Thursday which I'm so looking forward to - I'm hoping that we get to hear the heartbeat this time
March spends are slightly higher than then should be, but I'm not worrying about them for now. I think April will be worse in terms of spending as I think we'll have to buy a new cookerplus we've got the car booked in at the beginning of April as it's leaking oil which we need to get sorted. So no idea how much that'll end up costing us as a whole. I think April may have to be a fiscal fast to deal with all of that!
In other news, I've had a NSD working week this weekas in keeping with my working week challenge that I posted about on my blog, it's gone well. I have been tempted a couple of times, but I have stayed strong
