No, late 20's.
You come across as a lot younger TBH./Never heard of 4Chan or Reddit.
I find that really hard to believe.Anonymous can't be trusted...AT ALL, from conferences I've seen of them too, they're pretty right wing.
Have to admit I kinda agree with you there - I admire their ethic sometimes but don't think their methods are the most productive.l33t? Oh, people used to do that on IRC years ago, was stupid then and sill is.
Well, I was one of those people using BB's and IRC 30 years ago, so I won't argue!I don't DoS, I just don't buy people's products and tell other people why they shouldn't.
I admire that ideal, I just don't think it's realistically possible to avoid capitalism these days. Maybe it's just me as I admit to not wanting to sacrifice convenience for principle. Regardless, I could rant on, as I am sure you could, but at the end of it all our opinions will probably continue to differ, and this isn't really the forum for a debate on capitalism, consumerism, and world economy.0 -
Yes, I have heard of IPs, ever heard of TOR?
Veganism is very unethical
I don't know anything about terms
Ah...a hint of racism in there too?
I make sure to only use free software on my PC
Not really, can't be bothered with it, it seems too much effort. Who says this is the only thing I'm doing?
So what's the problem? It's my opinion, it could change any time, I could decide to change my mind from one survey to the next? Who are they to decide?
Also, a lot of the time it doesn't have a relevant answer for me, "which supermarket do you shop at?" for example, there's no option for "none"
nope, no racism from me. i abhor it.
the truth is that many pc's are made using underpaid workers in dodgy conditions.
a true anarchist would be communicating via some form of morse code through two ethical potatoes banged together. or maybe via a pigeon. but then that would not be ethical. especially if it were a vegan pigeon. god forbid.
the fact that you fail to acknowledge the above shows that you have little awareness of such issues really.
what's the problem? none at all. you carry on.:D:D:D

I've just been swag searching 4chan, reddit etc - didn't give me any bucks but feeling like I've learned something0

If you truly believe you are anonymous on the TOR network then you are a bigger fool than you already sound. Granted, you can combine TOR with other anonymous proxy providers around the globe to make it a pain to trace you, but by then your connection is slower than a 600 baud modem (and I used one of them 30 years ago and still cringe at the thought).
Let me guess - early to mid teens, lives on 4Chan (which was good a few years ago but is now full of people like you), or karma-whoring on Reddit, thinks he's a hacktavist and Anonymous member because you used a LOIC script once, and rely on the ignorance of others to try and pass yourself off as l33t. Am I close?
spot on. i think i love youOriginally Posted by easylife73:

Couldn't care lessI find that really hard to believe.
I don't use the internet for much other than work, generally not interested, it's been ruined by capitalists and this "web 2.0"/social networking rubbish. Bring back web 1.0...or 0.5Have to admit I kinda agree with you there - I admire their ethic sometimes but don't think their methods are the most productive.
I don't agree with DoS or peaceful protest, it does very little other than make you look soft to be honest. If you're going to take action, you take proper action, unfortunately, it needs a lot of people to be ready at the same time.I admire that ideal, I just don't think it's realistically possible to avoid capitalism these days. Maybe it's just me as I admit to not wanting to sacrifice convenience for principle. Regardless, I could rant on, as I am sure you could, but at the end of it all our opinions will probably continue to differ, and this isn't really the forum for a debate on capitalism, consumerism, and world economy.
But you can do your best to avoid it, also, once you do make a point of avoiding it, you realise how it's all nonsense anyway, I wouldn't have the majority of products that are on the market if someone paid me to have them, nevermind me paying for them. Well, it kind of is, since everyone here, by the title of the site, wants to save money, obviously they feel that the system is somewhat unfair and want to get as much out of it as possible to get the life they want but they all refuse to acknowledge one thing, that the system is fundamentally wrong. Capitalism has this idea of "curing the symptom", even literally in medicine.

You appear to have got lost on the way to the urban75 politics forum."And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0

Not if we can use technology to our advantage, I'm more than happy to give it up after the revolution. One good thing about a revolution would be that I wouldn't have to hear the words *cringe* "facebook", "twitter" and "apple" again.
I'm happy to say that I don't use commercial software on my PC, I've no need for it and, since for now I need to use a computer, because of the system that I'm forced to live under, that's as ethical as I can make it.
Two potatoes? But potatoes have feelings too!

But where's the fun and interest if everyone agrees with you?0 -
This Swagbucks deal looks like a nice one to have on the side while filling in other surveys. First day on it, I can smash the daily target, I'm guessing anything extra gets passed over to the next day.0
