    day 2 of restarting diet.

Have realised that ww soup is foul and is very watery. And making son an egg sandwich while eating rubbish soup doesnt help as his lunch smelt soooo good

Really dont update probably as often as i should. I am still around though and reducing the debt.

I have sorted out all presents for this month and now need to start sorting out what my sons need for their birthdays(both in may).

Debt payments are still going strong, just paying minimum when required at the moment and saving all my spare money in my online savings account ready for the end of the month when i can the decide whether to pay my mum money for tumble dryer or overpay on my debt.

Weightloss isnt going very well, hate the way i look but also cant stop myself from eating rubbish food. Dont want to fork out money for a gym or a weightloss class, as i really cant afford to so i have to do it at home with the wii and fitness dvd.

Need to sort out the house aswell as i am sick of cleaning it. It needs alot of work doing to it but the council just make excuses that its a old house and there isnt much they can do, which they can do something i think the just dont want to cos it costs them money.

Been helping my mum look for a house as she is selling hers.

Have been ebaying but have only been selling odd bits and pieces. Need to do a carboot at some point with the mother so we can get rid of a few things and make some pennies

Just got to £40 payout on survey site, so as soon as that goes into the bank, i can pay that off a debt.

So today i have paid £50 off the debt.

I have found out that the money i owe my mum for my tumbledryer is on bnpl until december, so will give her £50 this month and then just pay a bit when i have it. She has also nicely agreed to get some bunkbeds for my boys and although it is more money out for me, it gives me peace of mind.
The bunkbeds my kids have at the minute arent safe, some of the screws dont fit properly and the metal slats are bowing and could snap.

More debt payments to be made on tuesday and thursday next week and kids split up from school on the thursday too.

Have already been looking into what to buy the boys for their birthdays(may) just want to be organised.

Payday tomorrow and thursday. Have to pay £30 in scheduled payments, plus pay my mum my mobile bill and £50 off my tumble dryer. Then save some money for tv licence which is due out on 1st. Anything left can be overpayment to debt.

Dont think i need anything for the house. Spent £22 in iceland yesterday and £8 in morrisons getting a few bits of fruit/veg and household items.

Debt is on course to be under £7k by end of month.

Debts paid today as well as money for my mum safe for when she comes up tomorrow.

Having a bit of a dilemma in regards to which debt i should be overpaying on. I have been overpaying on my middle debt this month, but am now thinking that i should actually be concentrating on the lowest. This is because it is the worst company that i owe money to but i also dont want to overpay, as this may make them think that i can afford alot more than i actuallly can.

So thinking if i can keep my overpayment money in a safe place and just pay the minimum until i have enough to pay it off in full. Downside, my debt wont be coming down by much, which is a big part of keeping me motivated and it also means that i am more likely to spend the money if its just sitting around. hmmm decisions decisions!!!

Ok so as my last update says, i am finally under £7k, now onto the next target of getting it under £6.5k

Kids break up for two weeks today, so will need to keep them occupied somehow with minimal impact on the finances.

Hope to smash next target by end of may, but as it is both of my kids birthdays in may, it may be difficult as i havent yet got the anything andf i have no clue what they want. What do you get a nearly 4 and nearly 7 year old, especially when they already have loads of toys and clothes.
I did ask my eldest if he wanted a tv for their bedroom but he said no. the only thing he has said he wants is a Ipad. i told him good luck in getting one, they are nowhere in my budget.

So i am helping my mother do a carboot on sunday, which means the kids will be at their dads overnight tomorrow. The carboot sale is indoors, so wont be too bad. I have a few bits and bobs to get rid of, mostly books. if i dont get anything for them then i will send them to the charity shop its mainly to help my mum get rid of some stuff before she moves.
