Can you please explain how are they linked unless I do a Rapid Reclaim on JSA.
The linking period is prescribed by law, and continues irrespective of how you choose to sign back on. The linking period varies according to purpose, the length of your claim to date and the reason you signed off, but can be anything from twelve weeks to two years.
The term Rapid reclaim is because you are re signing within 26 weeks ad there are no changes to your personal circumstances which effect your entitlement to benefit.
You can reclaim within 2 weeks of a closed claim, but because of a personal change ie, change of address or new partner you would not be a rapid reclaim but your claim would still link.
