Sorry but you are waffling on..

What is the issue here? Have you bought a car or sold a car?

What is the issue?? You sold a car and they advertised it as having PAS?

When you think or know it didnt? Are you sure it didnt?

  • We sold it. P/x it to be precise.

It did not have PAS or service history. Yes I am sure coz my mechanic told me and i had driven it. Nor was I handed down a manual guide or service history book.

All I wanted to know was if the service history could be retrieved and PAS could be added.

If he serviced it then its got a service history. Or he could be a dodgy trader.

I presume you bought a car from him? You may want to do some digging.

Your service history maybe freshly printed.

  • We did buy a car from him and now knowing this, I am not impressed at all!!

Can they actually say that if they had it serviced once and call it service history?
  • With BMW you can certainly check main dealer service history if the service book is missing, by making a call to their Customer Services. They are very helpful in retrieving any main dealer service and recalls etc, and you can get a service book stamped by the dealers who did those services, for the dates of the services.

Yes you can have a service history with one service. What about 1 year old cars. Its had 1 service so that would be a full service history though.

Get a friend to phone and enquire about the car or even better pop in and see what they say.

All cars coming out of dealerships can have a full service history, doesn't mean they've every been serviced in their life.
