X2 Sainsburys radio shapped biscuit tin @ £2.00 each (I dont know how much these were originally.
Do they do the 90% off every year?
The biscuit tins were £10 originally but quickly reduced to £5 before Christmas so they could advertise them as half-price!
For last year and this year the 90% sale has started on the Monday in January when the kids return to school....I have marked it on my calendar for next year.;)
My DH works for Sainsburys and says staff have first pick at sale goodies...they were putting them aside during the the Sunday night shift to pay later. He refuses to join in!
If there is something I really want I buy it at 70% off as there is a chance it won't be there at the 90% sale. I went in yesterday just after 8am and a lot of stuff which was there on Saturday had already gone.0 -
Does anybody know if Cheadle Sainsburys has anything left ? I have to walk to the store - about 4 miles so would appreciate any heads up before i go.
Thankyou0 -
50 rolls of wrapping paper... Wow! Christmas in your household must be fun!
Yeah and we've cut back! :rotfl:We used about 8 rolls this Christmas but a few presents were more big than expensive, ie bought my dad a fire. We only buy each other useful presents so it's not money wasted and everyone is happy to get them. The draw under my bed which is up against the wall is now full of paper! And I wont have to buy any more for the next few years, kinda thought why not get it whilst I can.0 -
Still paper and a few bits at white rose Leeds...paper at the tills, tubs of cheddars etc at the far back of the store near cans of pop, lots of napkins and party ware but not cheap enough for me!0

Just been to Northampton store. Not much left but I did get one of the Pizza Express jars at 80p, two pine cone Father Christmas decorations for 25p each. From the food section I bought a cherry Christmas pudding for 50p, some American snack selection tubs for 89p each and some chocolate biccies for 1 pound a box.
I also picked up some Christmas cat teaser toys for 10p each. Some for my cats and some for the local animal rescue.
Hard not to buy stuff I didn't need as they still had quite a few things heavily reduced.0 -

...as you appear to have two small greedy children, I wouldn't bet on it.

Did you all buy Pizza express jars with biscuits @ 80p to give as a present or for yourself? I got one today and think what to do with it. I think the expire date is April.0
