In Gloucester today - Sainsburys have rolls of Xmas gift wrap down from £2.50 to 75p, £2 to 60p and tags 30p from £1. Also some 70% off hello Kitty gifts etc. WHSmiths have their boxed Xmas cards down to 99p (from £3.99, £3.49 etc). Also some to £1.99.

I had a Christmas gift dog chew pack reduced from £4.00 to £1.20 too, with EXP date of summer 2014. I also had some of the 13p cake decoration packs.

I was in Boots yesterday - just saw 50% off the gifts and not much in the clearance.

Sainsburys in store have a lot of their seasonal range of cake decorating stuff at silly prices. For example I got a Fiddes Payne White Christmas 60g pack for 8p! It contains various "sprinkles" - silver balls, pink crystals and white crystals as well as small sugar snowmen. BB date is Oct 13 so will last for plenty of kids baking sessions well through the year. I think these selection packs are usually well over a pound so a great buy.

They also had a number of other items such as small sugar champagne bottles (from memory around the same price) which would be a great finishing touch for cupcakes and also sugar paste santas, snowmen and reindeer which may be of more limited use with a BB date of Sep 13!

Just been to Sainsbury Ely, and bought some paper/cards. They've also reduced the Christmas puddings to 70% off and added a few more bits to the sales.
