In a nutshell ive been sold an item of clothing which was the wrong, in fact the shop doesnt stock the size i requested and the only thing theya re willing to do is give me a credit note but i dont see the point in that when they dont have the size i need.

    What are my options?

Without evidence that they made a mistake in giving the wrong size, your options are limited as the store isn't otherwise required to issue a refund. I'd personally issue a letter before action putting your case and hope they concede defeat.

My 9 year old daughter who has competed for Scotland in Tetrathlon is bigger than a size 6!
  • A size 6 bra? Didn't they have actual bra sizes on them and you'd have known the size? Which store is it - could a credit note be used towards something else?

We've had fairly mild weather but January often brings a cold snap, size 6? She needs to put on some padding for the winter. :p

Seriously though, I'd just go back and demand a refund not credit since you can't buy the item you want from them.

Some people struggle to put weight on as much as others struggle to lose it ;) A friend of mine is a size 6, her sister is tiny as well and both of them used to get stick from people about "not eating" when its just the way they're built. Sometimes, you just need to work with what "god" gave you :D

  • Not that it helps, but a US 6 is normally a UK 8.

My daughter wears a size 6, so I would normally buy her a US 4.

To be honest I'm in that category thankfully. Probably because I'm only 21 and have a decent metabolism, but I ate so many cookies/biscuits/chocolates I have over 100% of my saturated fat from them a day easily, if not significantly more. I'm stuck at 9st 3-6 no matter what it seems...I'm sure I'm dying on the inside. :p

If this is La Senza, Theyve recently changed to US sizing. I'd get a refund, Since they were saved the stuff has become tacky and cheap and an E cup there aint quite an E cup

I didn't think La Senza would sell anything at £100? Seemed they're trying to do rock bottom at the moment.

I always thought that a US size was two sizes smaller so a 6 would be a 10.

Have to agree about La Senza, since the makeover of the local shop it looks very seedy and more like Ann Summers!
