Earned myself a chill out Friday night! Busy at work again and have come home with a headache so am treating myself to a quiet night, Kindle and TV for me!

Not made the gym again but have been eating OK. I've also crossed a fair bit off my list this week, just a few things to do over the weekend

Have lost 2lbs this week :j so have ordered a leopard print cover for my phone as my treat, and paid for with Amazon vouchers :)

    Scary realisation!

I have just worked out my total debt and am ashamed to say I have made very little progress in the last year! I knew I had taken my eye of the ball and allowed CC debts to build up again but the harsh reality is I've only reduced my overall debt by £2k whilst making £6k in payments! :o

Even scarier - have just done a budget and it's far tighter than I realised and I have been living beyond it for at least the last 6 months!

Lots of food for thought! I will certainly be around on here a lot more and using it to keep me on the straight and narrow!!! It's certainly shown the value of tracking budgets and spending very carefully!

Nice quiet Saturday. Went for a run, have done some washing and housework, and now have maple and pecan muffins in the oven. I love baking but don't do it often enough!

Now settling down to watch the football! :)

Nothing much going on! Quiet Sunday, mostly spent with my Kindle, and work Monday out of the way!

I must do some exercise! :p

Steady day at work and have been to the gym tonight. Redeemed Nectar points for £10 Amazon voucher as I will need another book on my Kindle in a couple of days.

Shoes, trainers and phone cover have all arrived and I love them all :j. Trainers and phone cover were Amazon voucher spends so freebies too!

I have officially entered and paid the fee for the 10k on 24th March . Need to train properly now!

    TM is being 'odd'! :(

Good meeting at work today, looks like I will be taking on some new stuff and getting rid of some other stuff. Moving to a new office too next week. And there's even talk of possibly an incentive scheme of a financial nature - fingers crossed, would be more than welcome!

Have been for a run tonight and kept eating on track. :D

Long phone call with TM last night, have cleared the air and hopefully we can rebuild our friendship - fingers crossed! It will never be anything more and I am working hard to get my head around that, but I would really like to get our friendship back

Getting my nails done after work so don't think I'll manage to run tonight. I am at a funeral tomorrow so intend to run tomorrow evening, think it will be good to clear my head afterwards :(

Nothing planned for the weekend so there may be a list and an opportunity to do sonme 'stuff' at home, and do some exercise. Finances are really tight so this is the time to do it

Am moving offices next week so am expecting to be busy, need to get myself into 'professional mode' as I will be higher profile in the business whilst working on new projects

  • Hi Shoe Gal, what are you reading on your kindle at the moment? I am trying to ban myself from buying anymore books at the moment of either the paper or electronic form until I have shifted some of the ones that I already have - I do think I have a bit of an addition though :o

Forgive me but what does "TM" mean?

Will subscribe, I too am having a re-evaluation of life and reinvention of the diary after a rather large bump back down to reality - hey ho, onwards and upwards.
    Just keep swimming!
