    Downloaded but never used it. More as a backup to be honest.

    Came on here to mention that on ITV 4 at 12:55 tonight is a repeat of Freddie Flintiff vs the world which is the Vegas episode

    He does stuff like goes drag racing, sky diving and does a zip line

    Please can someone give me some advice:

    We are looking at getting married in September whilst in Vegas, i am aware of the procedures that are required whilst over there but not sure if we have to post Bands in this Country before we go.

    Will we need to get an Apostille whilst over there or will the marriage certificate be recognised in the UK.

    I presume we just register the marriage at our Local Offices when we arrive back.

    Thankyou

    Hi,

    Please contact the General Registry Office for advice. I'm sure it was the case that the marriage had to be registered with the brirish embassy or something in the country that the marriage took place (for a fee). A copy of the marriage entry would then be available in the uk also. I'm probably not explaining very well, but it's been years since I've had to deal with this:o Give the GRO a bell, they'll set you straight :D

    I've just seen Stuie has made a better job of explaining it than I did, lol!

    Oh aswell for the sake of a couple of free buffets I nearly got sacked.I play Myvegas with no sound on- never have-and thought I would sneakily nip up to the office and jump on a computer and download my free chips rather than wait til I got home that way I would have more.I logged on and to my absolute horror "luck is a lady tonight" was on full blast around the room, I didnt even realise it had a tune!!

    Hilarious :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    We got married there 2 1/2 years ago. Nevada weddings are fully recognised in UK law so you don't have to record your marriage in this country unless you want to (it's not a legal requirement). The only real advantage of doing so is that you can obtain a duplicate marriage certificate from a UK address instead of emailing Vegas and asking them to send one so we've never bothered. I was able to change my name on all our legal/financial docs using our Nevada issued certificate :)
