Flights to San Fransico Deals?

Has anyone seen any good flight deals from UK (any airport) to San Fransico anytime after 18th July 2013?

Also looking at flying back from LA 14 days later, is it best to book both together or book each flight separately?

what is the best price you have found so far? what is the latest you can travel?

In general it is best to book an open jaw return, you can check under 'multi-city' on kayak
for instance a return ticket with BA for some random dates is £877 but booking the same flights as 2 one-way fares costs £2,500

Best price seems to be 4432.70 for the 5 (2 adults and 3 children) going from Manchester to SF and then LA to Manchester.

As long as we are back by 2nd September for schools so anything before that but not before 18th June as earliest we could go due to schools etc.

Open jaw is flying into one airport and flying home from another as you describe. (A regular return would be doing your outwards journey in reverse)
